The driver of a vehicle involved in a fatal crash was arraigned in Federal Court.

Rachel Aileen Goodbird, 29, of Poplar, pled not guilty to a single count of involuntary manslaughter. She was released pending further proceedings, court documents state.

Goodbird is accused of causing the motor vehicle accident that killed Brenda Bigleggins, 58, last July.

If convicted of the most serious crime, Goodbird faces a maximum of eight years in prison, a $250,000 fine and three years of supervised release.
